Visualisation
Visualisation is a relaxation technique that uses imagination to create calming images or experiences in your mind. Some people find it easy to picture images, while others do not – and that’s completely normal. If imagining pictures feels difficult, try focusing on your other senses instead, such as what you might hear, feel, smell, or notice around you.
The aim of these exercises is to use your imagination in whatever way works best for you, helping to create feelings of calm, comfort, and relaxation.
In this video, we will go through two different visualisation exercises that may help with managing anxiety.
