Self-Assessment Tools

Evidence-based self-assessment tools can help you recognise symptoms of perinatal anxiety and better understand how you are feeling. However, they cannot provide a clinical diagnosis, which can only be made by a qualified healthcare professional.

The Perinatal Anxiety Screening Scale (PASS)ยน is a 31-item questionnaire designed to identify symptoms of problematic anxiety during pregnancy and the first year after childbirth.

If you are concerned about your anxiety symptoms, you may find this tool helpful. You can anonymously email the results to yourself and share them with a healthcare professional if you wish. They will be able to discuss your results with you and help you find appropriate support.

Please note:

  • Your responses are not recorded

  • No one is monitoring the tool or responses
